about us

WELCOME to Faith and Home Publishing! We are so glad you stopped by.

Based in South-Central Montana with a lovely view of the Beartooth Mountain Range (in The Rocky Mountains), we started this company as the result of much prayer and a long-time dream.

We felt called to launch into this business with books on homeschooling, however, we have many other ideas on the slate to publish as well. Topics include: Bible Study, Devotions,  Homemaking, Relationships, and (eventually) children's books and Christian fiction. There are no limits when you let the Lord write the stories!

In the meantime, be sure to visit our blog tab where regular content will post from these various topics along with updates on projects in the works or material newly releasing. We hope the blog platform can also provide an area for active discussion and sharing not only as we work on the whole of each book, but also to supplement all that we publish in print regularly.

You can also visit the "Contact" page to send messages - we would love to hear from you!

Hi...

...I'm Amanda! Editor-In-Chief and Head Writer.... I have been writing since I could hold a pencil, words are my passion (a close second behind my heart for God and family!). Fifteen years ago, as blogging was becoming the next big thing, I started my own site, faithfulhomeschool.com, which would later transform into FaithandHome.com. Now, as we enjoy the roaring 20s (2020s!) I am blessed for the opportunity to pursue a lifetime dream of growing a publishing company.

While I have always loved to write and create, I did not always know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Over 22 years ago, standing in a small white chapel by the side of a beautiful glacier-fed lake surrounded by the grand Rockies, cradling my second youngest in my arms as he slept, I had a life-transforming come-to-Jesus moment. The pastor's sermon struck a chord and I FINALLY understood the message of Scripture and realized the depth of my sin and the power of Jesus on the cross - and I surrendered. Having lived wildly until that point in my mid-twenties, I knew CHANGE was imperative. I took every opportunity to study and grow and jumped on the chance to train with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and other organizations to learn how to study and TEACH God's Word well.

I learned to intertwine my time between growing my spiritual life and growing my family life as well. Studying Early Childhood Education in college, teaching in public school (art), homeschooling our youngest three children through to graduation (we have a total of four, all grown now), and writing for various periodicals and newsletters - I grew a diverse list of experiences. The most transformative was the 3 years our family spent serving in missions here in the United States as church plant support catalysts and community development.

We are not currently actively serving in missions, however, as a believer called to live missionally at all times, I am passionate to share and teach about every aspect of what it is to be in RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ: daily living, Bible study, interactions with spouse, parenting, homeschooling, and homemaking in general. My blog has always reflected this and now, through our little publishing company, I hope to create farther-reaching content by way of books and tools which can be used to grow and edify readers.

The Blog is still going strong as we shift content to this site. I hope to provide regular articles and resources to supplement books and products coming out through Faith and Home Publishing.

Hello...

...I'm AJ! Support Specialist and Entrepreneur. I always love a new opportunity and project to try. I've been working in I.T. and Web Design for over 12 years, originally building websites for missionaries in the field and providing tech support for new church plants. Knowing my wife's passion to write, I was excited to grow Faith and Home Publishing with her.

Christ-centered work was not always my passion. Two years into our marriage my wife became a Christian. What I didn't know at the time was that she found herself on a mission to pray for my salvation for the next 10 years. Seeing her transformed and walking out her faith really began to impact me. After almost 40 years of trying to do life my way, I knew it was time for something different. I wanted to know who God was and began to search. Scripture reading and Bible study started me in that direction. Then, as the radio was playing in the background one day, I overheard an advertisement for a 30-day challenge (listening to only Christian music for 30 days because it takes 30 days to form a habit). I had a lot of baggage to throw off and that challenge changed everything. I sought forgiveness for my sins and invited Jesus to take over my life... I've been serving Him ever since.

Currently working as a Support Analyst in the private sector, God led me to the idea of starting a publishing company with my wife inspired by her love of writing and my interest in small business start-ups. I'm not really a writer (I will leave that ball in her court!) but I do love web-design so I am her go-to go for that!

Howdy...

... I'm Ashley M. Jones, Graphics Designer and Artist! I dabble in a little creative writing as well but I mostly love to focus on art. I mainly draw horses and other fun vector style art which you can see by visiting my Instagram account @gal5_artz (a nod to Galatians 5, especially v13!) My love of horses and drawing has been a hobby since I was young but last year, with encouragement from my parents, I decided to turn my hobby into a career when I began working in digital design professionally; creating logos, business items, and now book covers!

I grew up in a Christian home and have loved Jesus through the highs and lows. When I was in 4th grade, my mom pulled me out of public school to homeschool me (and my younger siblings). Let me tell you, it was the best thing that has ever happened to me, next to the missions work we did as a family.

School itself isn't always easy and growing up I had a form of temporal lobe epilepsy which made it hard for me to retain information at times, I struggled to get my homework done. I don't think I would have been able to make it in public school with teachers who were not willing to work with the added issue of my ADHD, and bad friends who tried to pull me into things I didn't want to do or bully me in and out of school. Over the years, even though it was hard to remember things, I have appreciated all my mother did for me during our homeschool time. I was able to really learn and grow in knowledge and understanding, inspite of the challenges I faced.

Now, as a grown woman, I hope I can help her reach other moms and encourage them in their calling to homeschool too. I also look forward to all of the other creative projects she has planned for women in general as I know her other passions are to teach women to study their Bible and encourage homemeakers with a Titus 2 mindset.
